British student Jonathan Davey moved to the Polish city of Gdansk and flies at a lecture in London because it is cheaper than to rent a house near the University.
British student Jonathan Davey came to the conclusion that flying from Poland to London for the lectures, which are held three times a week, cost him £2100 per year, whereas rental accommodation on campus is £220 per week. Thus, he moved to Poland, and to lectures each week just flies. This writes the mirror.
“It’s hard to believe that flying a thousand miles more profitable than to live around the corner of the University. Classes are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I will fly to London at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. Using the time difference, I miss the first lecture, which begins at 10 o’clock. Then I go back to Poland next Wednesday.” says Jonathan.
Two nights in London he spends in motels or with friends. On the way he visited his parents living in Hampshire.
